As a Security Professional - Patrol Specialist in Lakeland, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. What Youll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed. Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for all personnel. What Were Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
