Job Title: Furniture Mover and Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Furniture Mover and Assembler to join our team in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving and assembling furniture and related products efficiently and safely, adhering to manufacturer specifications and our high-quality standards. This role requires manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture according to schematics and directions.
• Move and install furniture and related products safely and efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for furniture assembly.
• Ensure all tasks are completed under the company's quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the assembly and moving process.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in furniture assembly, repair, and installation.
• Experience with heavy lifting, unloading, and loading furniture.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and directions.
• Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in moving and assembling furniture.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in using pallet jacks, hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
