Finance Internship – Overview and Career Development

As a Finance Intern at Vidoori, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our finance and accounting teams in key areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities – Finance, Accounting, and Data Analysis
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, working with team members to gather and validate data.
  • Participate in variance analysis, helping to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting financial results.
  • Perform data entry, reconciliation, and other finance administration tasks using Excel and financial software.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
  • Aid in the preparation of audit materials and support compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as HR, technology, and operations) on business initiatives requiring financial input and analysis.

Essential Skills and Experience for Finance Interns
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Excellent organisational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and an enthusiastic, professional approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Prior internship, placement, or project experience in finance or business is advantageous but not required.
