Position Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Event Manager to join our Marketing Team -- this could be a hybrid role, for the right applicant (~2 in-office days/week, with the ability to be flexible to account for event needs). The Events Manager owns the execution of our event strategy, from planning, to coordinating, and executing Agri Spray Drones event strategy across multiple experiential opportunities, including trade shows, dealer network meetings, field demonstrations, annual company and internal events, and more.

The Events Manager is responsible for measuring and improving event performance, using defined success metrics to evaluate ROI, inform future planning, and ensure events drive meaningful business impact.

The Events Manager also ensures all initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with company objectives, brand standards, and dealer engagement goals, while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, leadership, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
Event Performance, Measurement & ROI
  • Define event success metrics in partnership with sales (e.g., attendance, lead quality, dealer engagement, pipeline influence, customer retention).
  • Track and report post-event performance, including cost per lead, cost per attendee, and qualitative impact on sales and dealer relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing operations to ensure proper lead capture, CRM attribution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Deliver post-event recap reports with insights, ROI analysis, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Use performance data to refine event selection, budget allocation, and execution strategies over time.
Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan and own the execution of regional and national events including trade shows, dealer meetings, field demos, education sessions, internal company events, and annual Dealer Conference.
  • Pack event items for pickup or shipment, ensuring all materials arrive on time and in good condition; coordinate assistance for proper handling of static props, drones (static and demo), and other products.
  • Help with booth setup and teardown at national shows, select regional shows, and smaller shows as needed for quality assurance or support.
  • Ensure all event materials, props, and products are organized, packed, unpacked, and delivered to the appropriate location post-event.
  • Develop event timelines, agendas, and run-of-show documents to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage event budgets, vendor coordination, contracts, and on-site logistics.
  • Ensure relevant events are scheduled on internal and external calendars.
  • Plan and coordinate catering, drinks, and tableware for education sessions, field days, or other events to create a professional attendee experience.
  • Acquire lodging for staff and event participants as needed.
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with sales, leadership, dealers, and technical teams to align event goals and messaging.
  • Coordinate presenter participation, product demonstrations, and staffing plans.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all event-related communication.
Logistics & Operations
  • Oversee travel arrangements, accommodations, venues, equipment transport, booth setup, and event materials.
  • Ensure compliance with venue requirements, safety standards, and operational needs.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain professional execution.
Brand & Experience Management
  • Maintain consistent brand presentation across booths, apparel, signage, printed materials, messaging, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure events and branded initiatives reflect company culture, professionalism, and customer-first values.
  • Gather feedback and provide post-event summaries and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze attendee feedback and event performance data to assess effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in event management, field marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot) and website-facing platforms.
  • Experience managing print vendors, marketing production processes, travel logistics, and event coordination preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Domiciled out of mid-Missouri.
