Job Description

Growing company is looking for a motivated Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join the team.
Duties include:

• Assisting, developing, and executing various trainings related to EHS and facilities
  maintenance
• Performing risk assessments and recommending corrective actions in response to near misses, incidents, and accidents
• Understanding the primary hazards associated with facility construction and maintenance work and regulatory requirements
• Tracking and measuring metrics related to EHS and facilities maintenance
• Assisting, developing, and implementing new safety procedures
• Conducting job site inspections, facility inspections, and audits throughout the field, machine shops, and yard operations
• Help determine corrective or preventative actions
• Coordinating contractors to maintain critical facility operations such as fire life safety systems, fleet and forklift maintenance, various utility support, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Adding employees into EHS systems
• Loading datasheets
• Updating policies and procedures
  Requirements:
• Construction or water well background a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Safety a plus
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience working in EHS Software or related programs a plus
• Comfortable working in a construction environment
