Location: Arlington, VirginiaJob Type: 2 months contractCompensation Range: $40 - 43 per hourA dynamic Video Team is seeking a Video Editor to assist with fast-turnaround, short-form video projects. This role will focus on editing existing video content into concise, engaging formats for internal and social media use, often with a 1-2 week turnaround. Projects may include deliverables for Legal/Compliance and Internal Communications teams.When video requests are lighter, the Video Editor will also support a metadata migration project related to the organization's DAM replatforming. This involves helping to manually apply or transfer metadata across systems. However, video editing will remain the primary responsibility.Responsibilities: Demonstrated ability to tell compelling visual stories. Must provide a portfolio featuring recent narrative-driven work. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Reliable internet connection and home workstation setup. Nice to Have: Previous experience using Frame.io. Basic familiarity with DAM platforms and metadata tagging processes. Qualifications: Proficiency in short-form video editing using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling and narrative skills. Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems; specifically, applying metadata tags (no technical expertise required). Experience with Frame.io is a plus.
