Experience: Required: 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of Exacq, Axis, Salient and Brivo systems including NVRs, Analog and IP Cameras, Access Control Hardware and Software, and other security equipment. Installation of panels, controllers, card readers, sensors, IP video cameras and head end equipment. Installing devices such as electronic locks, motion detectors a plus. Knowledge of Firewall rules and Antivirus, cloud-based security software a plus. Programming camera systems and components; testing and demonstrating/commissioning systems. Establishing installation plans and complete system installations on time. Install and check systems, documenting wiring and device changes on job and project drawings as required. Ability to work on ladders, lifts and bucket trucks to install and service devices. Working and coordinating directly with building contractors and customers. Develop and maintain good rapport with clients and internal teams. Problem solving skills in the field to keep project schedules on time. Report any unforeseen problems to the Project Manager and/or Salesperson to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. Complete time sheets and other documentation on daily basis. Train helpers and other installers to ensure that they are following proper installation procedures and best practices. Excellent time management, planning and forward-thinking skills. Self-motivated and a professional attitude.
