Overview

We're seeking a UI Design Lead (Manager Level) with deep expertise in Design Systems to support a major Tobacco client. This role calls for a design systems specialist who can operate at a high level of detail and consistency across multiple sub-brands, ensuring design scalability and system-wide integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design system efforts for a large, multi-brand ecosystem within a Tobacco client.
• Build, evolve, and document complex Figma components , ensuring a consistent UI language across all sub-brands.
• Manage tokens, variables, and design libraries in Figma , maintaining alignment between design and development teams.
• Collaborate closely with design leadership, developers, and brand teams to enforce standards and scalable system design principles.
• Ensure high-quality visual execution that aligns with the client’s brand identity and accessibility standards.
• Provide design system mentorship and guidance to internal and client teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI Designer or UI Design Lead (not UX or hybrid roles).
• Extensive hands-on experience creating and managing Design Systems for large-scale brands.
• Deep understanding of Figma tokens, variables, and component architecture .
• Experience supporting multiple sub-brands under a single brand umbrella .
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Must be comfortable working with a Tobacco industry client .
