Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Windsor, Vermont.
Job Description & RequirementsPOSITION EXPECTATIONS (Includes but is not limited to):Evaluates, assesses, and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs.
Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
Counsels patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitoring results.
Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations.
Diagnose and develop intervention for patients with malnutrition
Participates in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.
Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.
Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enables planning and participating across a broader spectrum patient care.
Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
3+ years CURRENT Hospital Dietitian experience
Rural hospital dietitian experience required
Current VT Dietitian license
Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Bachelor degree in Nutrition from accredited college/university required
Perm address of candidate must be included in profile
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need

BLS (AHA) required.
