• Location: Bel Air, MD 21014 (Maryland healthcare jobs)\n
• Unit: 3W Cardiac Telemetry\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1790–$1920\n
• Patient Population: Adults with cardiac diagnoses, stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac cath patients\n
• Orientation: 48 hours\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact State (required at time of submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry RN experience (telemetry nursing jobs preferred)\n
• Previous travel nursing experience required\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)\n
• NIHSS certification\n
• Experience with electronic charting systems (clinical documentation)\n
• Comfortable managing a patient ratio of 5-6\n
• Willingness to float within the hospital as needed\n
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
• Two satisfactory professional references from recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN acceptable)\n
• CPI certification may be required (The Calm Every Storm online version accepted)\n
• Local candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility\n

\n\nCardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Cardiac Telemetry unit\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
• Administer and manage cardiac drips (non-titratable) and medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix\n
• Perform central and peripheral line care and management\n
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring systems (Hicuity System)\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response\n
• Participate in rapid response/code teams as needed\n
• Float to other nursing units within scope of experience as required\n
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the facility's electronic charting system\n
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements\n
