Job Description & Requirements Pharmacy - Pharmacist -
We are looking for a Night Shift Pharmacist contract.
Schedule will be 7/70 position with 10 hour shifts.
The schedule will be as follows: Week one 7 shifts starting Wednesday through the following Tuesday working 10 hour shifts.
The second week will be completely off schedule,. Third week 70 hours of 10 hour shifts. etc.
Performs all functions of pharmaceutical care including medication and IV orders.
Evaluates for appropriate drug, dose, allergies, interactions, and incompatibilities.
Monitors levels of therapeutic drugs.
Performs and supervises computer data entry related to patient profile.
Monitors all medication dispensing for accuracy.
Supervises filling of all prescriptions and provides appropriate patient counseling.
Collects and analyzes data for process improvement projects.
Performs in-service to community and support groups.
Performs other duties as assigned.
May be required to work alternate shifts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains professionalism and conducts self as a role model, serving as a resource for all health system partners.
Is an expert staff pharmacist who relies on skills of comprehensive knowledge and experience.
Maintains practice by ongoing professional literature review, continuing education and self-evaluation.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program
Wisconsin Registered Pharmacist License.
