Job Details

• RN Cardiac Cath Lab position with 40 hours per week, day shift from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 rooms including EP lab.
• Procedures include PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations.
• Patient population: Adult.
• EMR system used: EPIC - cupid.
• Floating is not required.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Cath/EP Lab, Interventional Cardiac and scrub experience required.
• Active Massachusetts RN License required.
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS.
• Must have completed MGB Medication Exam with 80% passing within 365 days.
• Must have completed MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with 80% passing.
• Fit Test (N95) within 365 days and updated annually.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
• MGB References: 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset.
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required as part of Fit Test.
• MGB Education Verification required.
• MGB SSN Trace required.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check required.
• MGB Exclusion Checks required.

Schedule Information

• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• 7 on-call nights per month.
• One weekend on-call (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) plus 4 other nights during the month.

• Unit Name: Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Procedures include PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, ablations.
• Patient population: Adult.
• No floating required.

Additional Details

• MGB IRP Resume and Evaluation are optional for submission.
• License/Certificate Verification is optional for submission but required for onboarding.
• Hepatitis B vaccination is strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years is preferred but optional.
• Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation (optional).
• MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission.
