Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Patient ratios: 1:2, or 1:1 for certain device patients • Scheduling requirements include 2 weekends per month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), and 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)• Float as needed, typically to other ICUs but may include other floors • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Strong critical care experience required, including CVICU experience • Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required • Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT • Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS • Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations on unit • Work with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps • Use Meditech documentation system • Dress code requires black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs, scrub jackets/vests only • Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7• Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech available Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:30 PM • Free floating charge nurse available to assist staffFacility:
