- Contract Duration: 4-months
- Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN or remote
- Compensation: $33.00 - $56.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Textile Designer: - Develop original, trend-forward textile prints for women’s ready-to-wear apparel
- Translate seasonal trend direction into elevated, brand-appropriate artwork
- Design repeats, engineered placements, and all-over prints that are technically ready for production
- Create art sheets (tech packs), upload to designated platforms, and manage digital design files efficiently
- Collaborate with the internal print team and cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive execution
- Respond to factory inquiries and participate in feedback rounds with timely revisions
- Manage multiple design projects while meeting key deadlines
What you’ll bring to the Textile Designer role: - 5+ years of experience in textile or surface design within the fashion or apparel industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator; NedGraphics experience a plus
- Familiarity with color standards, preferably Archroma
- Strong grasp of composition, repeat layout, color, and scale
- Ability to work across both hand-drawn and digital design styles
- Awareness of current print and cultural trends
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience in mass-market retail or high-volume print development is preferred
