As a System Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will work on a team with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, reporting to the system integration engineering manager. This small, motivated team designs, tests, and flies advanced automated systems, combining mechanical and electrical hardware onto aircraft safely and efficiently. Responsibilities You will own vehicle-level projects through planning, design, and testing phases. Projects include primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, hardware-in-the-loop testing, ground station development, and integration with software and human-machine interfaces. You will guide project schedules, prioritize aircraft functions for integration and testing, and ensure timely delivery. Basic Success Criteria Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience 8+ years of experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals Experience with system design fundamentals Ability to read electrical wiring schematics Experience testing systems for performance Proficiency in coding and software testing Excellent project management skills Preferred Success Criteria Experience designing system architectures and evaluating design options Experience with vehicle safety and risk assessments Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment Strong measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills Eagerness to teach and learn Ability to work independently and lead a high-performing team Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. The estimated salary range is $162,000 to $220,000 annually, plus stock options, benefits, and other perks. Compensation is based on experience, expertise, and market conditions. Additional benefits include stock options, medical insurance, 401(k), a casual work environment, and a collaborative team. This position requires compliance with U.S. export control laws.
