SUMMARY: Carter Creek Winery is currently hiring experienced Dual Therapist to provide professional spa services in aesthetics and massage therapy. Come join the Carter family in Johnson City, Texas.

DUTIES : The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
  • Provide facial services to guests using props and/or products.
  • Provide Yoga and Energy work body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps.
  • Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification process.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning service.
  • Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa.
  • Monitor and adhere to time schedule throughout the day.
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product as indicated on service protocols to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spas policies and procedures.
  • Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guest incidents that require attention.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail. Promote programs, promotions and discounts available.
  • Handle guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
  • Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Maintain current license in service area.
JOB KNOWLEDGE : State of Texas Massage Therapy License and State of Texas Cosmetology Esthetician License . Minimum 3 years experience in related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS : Spends majority of time indoors. Bi-level structures. Extensive facility. Indoor: temperature controlled, clean, and well-lighted offices, guest rooms, and public areas. Moderate exposure to hazardous substances and fumes. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Repetitive motion activities. Coordinate multiple tasks. Ability to maintain physical strength. Healthy, positive, concise mindset.
