Role Overview:
\nWe’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to manage complex tax assignments for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n\t
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065; 990 experience a plus).\n\t
• Prepare and review individual and trust tax returns.\n\t
• Assist the Tax Manager with complex assignments as needed.\n\t
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide expert guidance.\n\t
• Advise on financial sales strategies and investment planning.\n\t
• Stay up-to-date on changing tax legislation affecting our clients and operations.\n\t
• Maintain exceptional organization and effective communication with clients and staff via verbal, written, and visual methods.\n

Required Qualifications:

\n\n

\n\t
• CPA or EA license (CPA strongly preferred)\n\t
• Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience (small- to medium-size firms ideal)\n\t
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory reporting\n\t
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; knowledge of Lacerte and Microsoft Office (a plus)\n\t
• Strong analytical skill and ability to interpret complex financial data\n\t
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\t
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and outstanding customer service\n\t
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively\n\t
• Experience with non-profit accounting practices is desirable\n

Compensation:
\nUp to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience
