Senior AML Compliance Investigator – Payments: 25-06164 Payments Compliance seeks an experienced Senior AML Compliance Investigator to join our robust team. This role is central to managing and analyzing a high volume of cases for Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and elevating our AML program's effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of BSA/AML compliance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in US investigations, supporting the global Operations team. File Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) with FinCEN, aiding in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. Conduct detailed investigations into potential illicit financial activities and analyze transaction data for suspicious patterns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Payments AML program, providing training and support on compliance matters to the Operations Team. Must-Have Skills Proven expertise in BSA/AML compliance investigations and SAR filing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Industry Experience Prior experience in the Payment Services or Financial Sector with a focus on AML compliance. Note Professional certifications (e.g., CGSS, ACAMS) and familiarity with SQL and G-suite are highly regarded, along with experience handling cases related to Organized Crime, Human Trafficking/Child Exploitation, and Drug Trafficking.
