As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas within a food and beverage location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.81 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 4:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 4:30 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities to help deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious behavior within the food and beverage production environment. Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while upholding company and client standards. Assist with emergency response procedures as needed, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, following established protocols for the location. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
