Overview University of Mobile is seeking experienced, customer-friendly Security Officers. Our ideal candidate has the willingness to work and aspires to advance in their career. We are looking for full-time employees who want to help build the best armed security force in the industry. We currently have a small crew with a family atmosphere and are not looking to disrupt that culture. Proficiency with a semi-automatic pistol is mandatory. If you are not skilled with a firearm, or are not customer service oriented – do not apply. Shift schedule Shifts: 8-hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am), 24/7 including holidays and weekends. Overtime is usually available, and schedules are posted for a month at a time. Each shift has a Patrol Sergeant who answers to a Patrol Lieutenant and Administrative Captain. Training is emphasized throughout the year and includes firearms, O.C. pepper spray, traffic stops, fire response, report writing, customer service, and active shooter response.
