As a Security Officer - Government Complex Unarmed in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence to all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while on patrol.
  • Document incidents and activities according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
