Cascade Contracting & Services is currently looking to hire a Security Guard on a full time, permanent basis. This position must be performed onsite at Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Ford Island in Honolulu, HI and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Location : Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Ford Island in Honolulu, HI

Available Shifts: 6AM – 2PM or 10AM – 6PM, Monday through Friday

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.08/hr + $5.09/hr health and welfare pay

Job Description:

IRC Front Post:

• The Guard on duty is ordered to only communicate Access Control issues relating to the IRC Front Doors
• All other issues encountered at this post will be forwarded to the IRC Lead Guard
• The Guard at this post will not accept any paperwork

IRC Rover Post:

• The Guard on duty is ordered to only observe and report to the IRC Lead Guard
• All issues encountered at this post will be forwarded to the IRC Lead Guard
• The Guard at this post will not accept any paperwork

IRC Guard Contract Tracker:

• All requestsfor the IRC Guardsmust be enteredon the IRC Guard Tracker. Types of requeststhat can be entered on the Tracker:
• IRC Access (CAC,PIV, Proxy,Keys)
• VIP ParkingSpots
• Borrow an IRC ForeignNational Badge
• Only selected IRC L/O Representatives may fill out the IRC Guard Contract Tracker.
• Once the IRC L/O Representative enters a request on the IRC Guard Contract Tracker, the employee may proceed to the IRC Guard Office to have their request processed.
• Please do not make requests in-person, over the phone or through email.

IRC Access List (Spreadsheet):

• The IRC Access List communicates L/O approved access for L/O employees to the IRC Lead Guard.
• When making requests on the IRC Guard Contract Tracker, related to updating existing or new CAC, PIV or Proxy Cards, IRC L/O Representatives must ensure that the information on the IRC Access List is up-to-date.
• Certain areas on campus require training prior to entry:
• B130, 1st and 2nd Floor Labs, Building M, Dive Locker, Boat Yard, etc.

Access Control:

• The IRC Lead Guard has the ability to open all doors on campus with a card or key
• To have a locked door open, make the request on the IRC Guard Contract Tracker
• Certain areas on campus require IRC L/O Manager, COR or CTR permission prior to entry:
• Mailroom, MARFAC,B130 Secured Storage, IT Spaces, IT Racks, 1st and 2nd Floor Labs, B184, B166, OLE, Building M, Cafeteria, an office other than the requestors, Pier, Dive Locker, IT area in the auditorium, 1st floorconference rooms, Boat Yard, etc.

Identification Checks at the IRC Front Post:

• The IRC Front Post mirrors the same Identification Check operation that the JBPHH Guards/Police perform at the Ford Island Gate
• The IRC Guard on duty performs 100% Identification Checks on visitors to the IRC
• The IRC Guard on duty performs random Identification Checks on tenants of the IRC
• The IRC Guard may ask to physically touch/hold your card to complete the identification check

IRC Events:

• All visitors must sign in at the IRC Front Post
• Please do not give Attendee Lists to the Guards
• All Lists must be approved by the IRC Security Manager

Stairwells:

• Follow the signage posted on the doors
• The 1st floor stairwell exits are Fire Exits
• Stairwell exits are for emergency use only Cafeteria Dining Area Doors
• Follow the signage posted on the doors
• Do not let visitors into the IRC, all visitors must report through the IRC Front Post
• These doors are to be kept closed, please do not leave these doors propped open
