Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Full Time | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (occasional overtime)

About the Role
Remedy Staffing LLC , acting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the construction materials sector , is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) to support operations at a busy Cleveland production facility. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute preventative maintenance routines to minimize equipment downtime
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Overhaul motors, pumps, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, and other equipment
Use meters and schematics to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems
Perform welding and fabrication tasks (cutting, MIG, stick)
Interpret and work from mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Accurately record maintenance activities in SAP or similar CMMS system
Assist with equipment installations and process improvement projects
Safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and other mobile equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant setting
Solid mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining production equipment
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics
Skilled in welding, fabrication, and using cutting tools
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Comfortable using basic computer applications for documentation and communication
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
Capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in variable environmental conditions
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly wage: $26–$30/hour
