We're currently seeking a dedicated  Licensed School Social Worker  to support an elementary school (Pre-K-2nd grade) in the Zion, IL  area  for the 2025-2026 school year .

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work with a PEL (Professional Educator's License)  with the school social work endorsement

Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: M, T, R, F 8:45 am – 3:45 pm; W 8 am – 3:45 pm
• Dates: August 19, 2025 – May 27, 2026 (not including additional snow days) 
• Setting: Elementary School (Pre-K-2nd grade)
• Caseload: 6-10 students
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social work services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Conduct evaluations, assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
