Rehabilitation Physical Therapist – Travel Position Location: Plentywood, MT Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x7s Days Pay: $2,655/week Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join a facility in Plentywood, MT, on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, create personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to restore mobility, strength, and functional independence. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and experienced in rehabilitation therapy across diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical function, mobility, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including strengthening, gait training, balance exercises, and functional mobility activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Document therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, patient-focused care.
• Support recovery and improved quality of life through evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Montana (or compact license).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience, preferably in rehabilitation settings.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, adaptable approach with experience supporting diverse patient populations.
