The UPS Store Alamo Heights is seeking a Part-time Center Associate to join our family-owned business. This position offers a competitive compensation range of $13.00 - $14.00 per hour, and is located in Alamo Heights, TX. As a Center Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, attending to the business needs of our clients and ensuring a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include shipping, packing, receiving packages, printing, managing mailboxes, and offering other business solutions. We are looking for a candidate with a friendly and helpful demeanor, strong computer skills, the ability to work well in a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-directed in daily tasks, and bring previous retail sales experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Advise our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options.
• Takes ownership of the customer's needs and offers viable solutions.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent verbal skills both by phone and in person
• Ability to complete general math and grammatical functions
• Be notary eligible (felony free and have a valid Texas ID)
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Willing and able to work 15-25 hours per week within a 7 day work week
