Position: Paraplanner

Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced—and friendly— private wealth office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused, licensed (or willingness and ability to pass the exam within a timeframe) Paraplanner to support our financial advisory team. In this role, you will assist with managing client accounts and handling service requests. You will play a key part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and firm policies, while also supporting client onboarding, account setup, and transaction processing. As a primary point of contact for client inquiries, you’ll ensure the highest level of service and responsiveness. Additional responsibilities include preparing financial documents, reports, and meeting materials, as well as supporting ongoing client communication and follow-ups to strengthen relationships and enhance client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisors in managing client accounts and fulfilling service requests, including executing trades, processing documentation and managing/resolving client service problems.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
  • Support client onboarding, account setup, and transaction processing while serving as a point of contact for client inquiries.
  • Prepare financial documents, reports, and meeting materials as needed.
  • Support client follow-ups and communication while providing readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.

Education and Other Designations:

  • College degree or higher
  • 2+ years of similar experience
  • Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses
