Completes the nursing portion of MDSs within the time frame specified. Reviews clinical documentation as well as Care tracker to complete the MDS Assist in setting MDS dates and publish to all clinical disciplines as needed Assist in educating clinical staff about the MDS process and documentation Knowledgeable in the use of windows based software applications, good communication skills. Ability to work as a team member and to be a resource for clinical staff. Completes other dues as assigned
Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing Preferably has attended MDS seminars, has received certification in MDS competency, or is willing to obtain certification. Experience in Long Term Care preferred. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
