Overview

Become a part of our international Operations team at one of our locations in Miami, USA. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Logistics Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all TSA, DOT and Customs regulations (US and Foreign)
• Manage the import and export process of shipments from start to finish
• Work with shippers, transloaders, truckers, and carriers to execute shipments
• Timely management of multiple lines of communication between suppliers, shippers, customers, and internal parties, maintaining details, and relaying pertinent information to appropriate parties
• Assures compliance with customs, imports, export, applicable trade laws, as well as applicable federal transport regulations
• Work constructively in a team-oriented environment to ensure customer requirements are met
• Become fluent with deugros in-house Operating Systems, Accounting Systems, and Tracking Systems
• Prepare invoices and shipping documents such as, but not limited to export Bill of Lading (MBL, HBL, MAWB, HAWB), commercial invoices, and certificate of origin, as per Export requirements
• Take responsibility for Receivables and Payables for shipments under your oversight

What you can contribute

• Minimum 3-5 years of Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding experience required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED), some higher education preferred; and three to five years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiar with INCOTERMS 2020 and FMC regulations
• Cargowise experience highly preferred
• Understanding of TACT and IATA rules and regulations
• Experience in working in different time zones and different cultures
• Positive attitude and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced working environment
• Multitasking Skills Able to handle various assignments in daily coordination with overseas offices
• Creative thinking and open to new ideas
• Focus Pay attention to the customers needs and commit to exceeding them
