Aimic Inc is seeking a local contract nurse RN Public Health Level III for a local contract nursing job in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Title: Registered Nurse (Public Health / Jail Vaccination Team) Location: Knoxville, TX
Duration: 33 weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Regular Shift)
Responsibilities - Plan and conduct vaccination clinics in county jails across East Tennessee
- Educate justice-involved individuals on vaccines and viral hepatitis prevention
- Store, transport, and administer vaccines per CDC guidelines
- Provide nursing care and emergency responses (BLS, CPR as needed)
- Administer medications per physician orders and nursing protocol
- Document patient information in electronic and paper health records
- Maintain patient health files and legal health documentation
- Track and report vaccination numbers and educational materials distributed
- Participate in routine calls with supervisor and viral hepatitis program teams
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Requirements - Active RN License (Tennessee or Compact State)
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of RN experience or RN degree equivalent (ASN/BSN/Diploma)
- Ability to travel to multiple jail locations within East Tennessee
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to function independently in field settings
Preferred Experience (Not Required)- Public Health Nursing
- Immunization / Vaccine Administration
- Communicable Disease / Infectious Disease
- Correctional Health or Jail-based healthcare experience
- Community Outreach Nursing
Ability to travel to multiple jail locations within East Tennessee
