We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who has a passion for the law, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the New Jersey legal landscape, and will be well-versed in case filings, draftings, and discovery. This role offers an exciting chance to be involved in the intricacies of litigation proceedings, providing crucial support to our attorneys and ensuring the smooth running of our legal processes.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post trial.
2. Conducting initial case investigations and gathering facts.
3. Coordinating case filings and managing case calendars efficiently.
4. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
5. Organizing and managing discovery documents, including reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing documents.
6. Assisting in deposition preparation, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.
7. Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents and responding to discovery requests.
8. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Litigation Paralegal, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably within the New York and New Jersey jurisdiction.
2. Proficiency in case filings, draftings, and discovery.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A paralegal certification is a plus.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and correspondence.
6. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
7. A proactive and resourceful approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.
