Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Foreman
About Korpi Lawn and Landscape: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing landscape maintenance projects. You will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, to the highest standards, and within budget, while also leading and supervising your crew.
Job Summary:
The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for managing and executing landscape maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of landscape maintenance practices. The foreman will lead a crew, manage job sites, and maintain effective communication with clients and management.
Job Functions:
- Job Site Management:
- Manage and oversee all activities on the job site, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Personnel Management:
- Effectively manage and direct crew members, ensuring tasks are completed to company standards.
- Train and develop subordinates in best practices and promote professional growth.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Customer and Communication:
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, designers, and management to ensure accurate job completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients on job sites.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Track and record all job expenses, hours worked, and materials used accurately.
- Operate and maintain medium-weight landscaping equipment proficiently.
- Manage materials and expenses efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and organization.
- Communicate regularly with a member of the Management Team.
- Seasonal Demands:
- Work 45-55 hours per week from March through November.
- Be available on-call 24/7 during winter for snow removal operations.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance.
- Proficient in operating medium-weight landscaping equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of turf, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.
- Ability to obtain an infield certification within 2 years of accepting the foreman position.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
