Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical code compliance and safety standards to ensure all work is performed according to regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all electrical work is compliant with local and national electrical codes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment.
- Test electrical systems and components using appropriate testing equipment.
- Collaborate with other trades and professionals to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Utilize knowledge of AC/DC systems and control systems to support various electrical applications.
- Perform conduit bending for wiring installations and modifications.
Qualifications - Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of electrical code compliance and safety standards.
- Experience in troubleshooting, wiring, and installation of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of circuitry and electrical components.
- Experience with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
