Job Description

Position Title:  Janitorial Worker

Wage: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Janitorial Worker position available at a company in Canton, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Janitorial Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office and industrial spaces.
- Clean windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.
- Restock cleaning supplies and restroom items (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.).
- Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Perform deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.

Janitorial Worker Requirements:
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in industrial or office settings
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be dependable with good attendance.
- Able to work independently and take direction when needed.
- Must be able to pass QPS and company screening process.
