United Talent has an immediate opening for a Housing Manager I in Charleston, WV.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lease vacant units to maintain 97%+ occupancy, and coordinate with Maintenance to expedite unit readiness.
  • Conduct thorough new resident orientations, including lease agreements and move-in inspections.
  • Collect rent and maintain tenant accounts receivable above 98%.
  • Conduct annual and interim recertifications for resident eligibility, calculate rent changes, and ensure compliance with HUD regulations.
  • Monitor lease compliance, perform unit inspections, and address resident infractions.
  • Maintain accurate records for unit and resident files, including HUD forms, rent changes, and inspections.
  • Ensure positive resident satisfaction, resolve conflicts, and promote a safe living environment.

PAY & SHIFT:

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Starting pay: $16.43 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Preferred: BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) or related field. High school diploma required; college or vocational training preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software.
  • Valid West Virginia driver's license.
  • PHM certification within the first year of employment (employer-provided).
