Job Summary
As a Host/Hostess , you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lasting impression by providing a warm and friendly welcome. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. This entry-level position is ideal for those who are eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry, and who have a natural ability to make others feel comfortable and valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage the reservation system, seating guests promptly and efficiently, and maintaining an organized seating chart.
• Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed of the status of their table.
• Anticipate and address guest needs, such as special requests or accommodations.
• Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant and its offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and lobby area.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, bar area, and restrooms.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; we provide on-the-job training!
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and remain calm in a fast-paced, humid, and noisy environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willing to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
