About the Role:

As a Host/Hostess at Oglebay Park, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of seating in the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Additionally, you will collaborate with the restaurant staff to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that all guests feel valued and attended to. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating memorable experiences that encourage guests to return.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
