We don\'t use bloated frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation and pride ourselves on delivering lean, sleek web experiences. Attention to user experience, quality assurance, and accessibility is important. Responsibilities Collaborate across projects to implement design concepts effectively and ensure lean, sleek web experiences. Contribute up-front ideas and apply creativity and attention to detail in front-end solutions. Focus on user experience, quality assurance, and accessibility in all work. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of standards-compliant, responsive HTML & CSS. Demonstrated knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (specifically, React and/or Next.js). Strong understanding of usability across various devices and major web browsers. Strong understanding of accessibility and WCAG 2 compliance (minimally AA). Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS, Sass, Less) and task-runners like Gulp. Experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for retrieving developer specifications and graphic assets. A great eye for design accuracy, design consistency, and good instincts for improvisation if a specific design is not provided. Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset; ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects. A motivated self-starter with curiosity to learn new web technologies and approaches. Note: To be considered for this position, you must include samples of work showcasing your skill set. Not required, but highly desired knowledge includes: design experience, Git, package managers (Yarn, npm, Composer), build tools/task runners (Gulp, Webpack, Vite), basic working knowledge of CMSes like Drupal, WordPress, and/or Sitecore, back-end or full-stack development experience, and experience with data fetching and external APIs.
