Engineering Specialist-HVAC Design Engineer MEP Engineering Specialist - HVAC Design Engineer MEP

Position Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Specialist with a strong focus on HVAC design and MEP systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and effective HVAC systems that comply with building codes and industry standards, while ensuring the highest level of energy efficiency and sustainability in our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and residential buildings.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
• Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards in all designs.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling HVAC systems.
• Prepare detailed specifications and design documentation for projects.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site inspections and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with load calculations and energy modeling is preferred.
• Familiarity with ductwork design and system design methodologies.
• Project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
