Job Description

Cottonwood is seeking dedicated and safety-focused individuals to join our delivery team. As a DSD Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of fresh products to our valued customers, including Holiday Oil Company C-stores and independent businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily loading of the delivery truck with fresh orders from Cottonwood Warehouse and Dunford Donuts.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery of orders to customers across Utah while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
• Verifies product accuracy with customers upon delivery.
• Accurately documenting any missing products on invoices and issuing memos as necessary.
• Accounts for missing products through accurate recording on invoicing and issuing memos as needed.
• Collaborates with accounts to monitor and manage out-of-code products.
• Collects and returns empty totes and crates to the warehouse at the end of each day.
• Stocks store shelves and rotates products based on code dates to maintain proper inventory freshness
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the maintenance and readiness of the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Comply with safety protocols, including monitoring by an onboard camera system.
• Works closely with each customer's management team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Will be subject to MVR monitoring
• Safety Sensitive Position
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Workdays: within a Sunday-Saturday work schedule.
• Start time: 12:30 p.m., continuing until deliveries are completed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of two years of safe driving experience required
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work in multiple temperature environments including general warehouse areas, and customer stores where refrigerated delivery areas exist.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to handle deadlines and interruptions in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong math skills required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English required for communication, reading, and writing.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent sitting, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Working in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Exposure to environmental factors such as noise, odors, and moving parts.
