About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Data Officer to lead a team of data professionals in delivering next-generation, data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all data operations and projects, developing and implementing a statewide data governance strategy, and enhancing the company's data platform. This role requires advanced knowledge of data integrity, standardization, and experience in data management practices, including data governance, metadata, data quality, and entity resolution. The Deputy CDO will also be involved in leading data stewardship programs, working with key stakeholders to provide data services that meet their needs, and ensuring compliance with data management and sharing regulations. Applicants for the Deputy Chief Data Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant fields or 4 years in an IT Manager role with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and possess supervisory and team-building experience. Knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools, data architecture, data engineering, business process management, and database development practices is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multi-department projects, and a collaborative approach to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
