Job Description

Job Summary:

A Counter Stock Clerk is responsible for pulling and stocking materials. A Counter Stock Clerk should be able to multitask and work independently or in a team setting. No history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed.

Responsibilities:

• Pull stock materials for customer counter orders.
• Assist in Priority Orders
• Stock materials per required procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Assist in cutting wire.
• Performs daily housekeeping practices for the assigned work area.
• Adheres to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Company Safety Handbook.
• Assist in all warehouse delivery duties on an as-needed basis.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by senior management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, push, pull and maneuver at heights and in tight small spaces.
• Ability to operate handheld inventory and warehouse control devices.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs, a ladder, and a step stool.
• Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and may occasionally exceed 50 lbs.
• Ability to be a problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
• Adaptability / flexibility / willing to change & adjust with business conditions.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with approved motor vehicle DMV report.
• No history of drug or alcohol abuse.
