About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer to lead the transformation and development of its global enterprise data platform. This executive will be responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the data organization and strategy to support complex business functions, including actuarial, underwriting, claims, compliance, and finance. The role involves delivering advanced data integration, master data management, governance, and analytics solutions, with a focus on technical innovation and a unified view of enterprise-wide data assets. The CDO will also be tasked with designing a world-class data organization, recruiting and mentoring high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and change leadership. Candidates for the Chief Data Officer position at the company should have advanced hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms, medallion architecture, and a proven track record in implementing MDM solutions. Deep knowledge of enterprise data governance, stewardship, and regulatory frameworks is essential, as is experience with insurance data models and the process flows of core functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 15+ years of enterprise data and analytics experience, and a strong background in leading large-scale, global data organizations, particularly in the insurance industry. Technical skills in data engineering, cloud platforms, and insurance data management certifications are highly valued. The role requires outstanding leadership, transformation, and stakeholder management abilities, as well as a commitment to fostering a culture of high performance and transformation.
