Coughlin Kia of Lancaster has a rare opportunity for an Automotive Sales Manager who is looking for a long-term career to join our dealership. Are you a high-energy, customer-focused Sales Professional with a passion for cars? We're looking for a dynamic Automotive Sales Manager to join our Lancaster team.

Coughlin Automotive is one of the fastest growing locally owned dealerships in Central Ohio. We carry thirteen brands including Buick, Chrysler, GMC, Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Cadillac, Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, and Kia. We have seventeen locations in the Central Ohio area, including Newark, Pataskala, Circleville, Heath, Chillicothe, Lancaster, Lewis Center, Dublin, and Marysville. We offer automotive service departments, body shops, and parts departments that are unmatched by others in the industry, due to our exceptional sales and service teams consisting of highly qualified, knowledgeable, and talented associates.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for sales operations at the dealership
• Lead the sales team to increase profitability
• Provide focus on your sales team – hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all sales people
• Work closely with customers throughout the sales process to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Finance team to structure deals and secure approvals
• Manage lot presentation, inventory rotation and aging units
• Provide training, support and mentorship to sales staff for continued team growth
• Monitor sales metrics and implement strategies to improve performance
• Orders/acquires new and used vehicle inventory

Skills, Experience and Educational Qualifications:

• 5+ years of automotive sales experience, 3+ management experience preferred
• Proven CSI track record
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of inventory management and vehicle appraisals
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Clean driving record and insurable
