Full-time, Seasonal
June 15th - August 17th, 2026
Cedar Circle Farm is hosting the tenth year of the unique farm-based summer program for children ages 6-11. We have a capacity of 30 campers each week, and Summer Camp Educators guide groups of about ten campers each during camp activities and farm explorations, with support from the Assistant Summer Camp Educator and Mentors in Training (MITs).
About the Position
The Assistant Summer Camp Educator role is perfect for someone eager to build confidence and develop their teaching skills in an outdoor setting while fostering kids' connections to food, nature, and each other. As an Assistant Educator, you'll support and collaborate with our camp team, primarily assisting educators in delivering engaging activities, and help create a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment. If you're enthusiastic about working with kids, gardening, food, and outdoor education-and aren't afraid to be a little silly-we would love to hear from you!
Schedule:
Eight individual weeks of camp are scheduled from June 22nd to August 14th, Monday through Friday, with a mandatory staff training session from June 15th to 19th, and post-camp cleanup/reflection on August 17th. The camp day is from 9 am to 4 pm, and Educator time on the farm will typically be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
