Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Compliance Consultant/Trainer (contractor) to partner with the Regional Manager in developing training plans, compliance KPIs, and learning resources for LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs. Open to some remote.
Key Duties:
Develop and deliver training on LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing, and compliance documentation.
Conduct file audits, compliance reviews, and prep for inspections/audits.
Create manuals, toolkits, and compliance guidance materials.
Mentor site teams and suggest process improvements.
Qualifications:
5+ years in affordable housing compliance.
Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD Section 8, and state regulations.
Preferred certifications: COS, TCS, HCCP.
Strong training, documentation, and software (Yardi/RealPage) skills.
Ideal Candidate:
Collaborative, proactive, and dedicated to fostering compliance excellence and supporting onsite property teams.
