Job Description

Vaco is currently hiring for a Accounting in Greater Milwaukee.

This position will be responsible for handling the following:

 

• Support monthly close process including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Apply GAAP accounting principles to day-to-day activities
• Manage debits, credits, and general ledger activities
• Assist with month-end tasks and financial reporting
• Help streamline and consolidate Excel-based reporting processes
• Be a flexible team member—supporting beyond the “typical” accounting duties when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Manufacturing industry background
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting consolidation)
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar ERP systems a plus
• Personable, proactive, and eager to jump in wherever needed
• Thrives in a “roll-up-your-sleeves” environment going through change
