Salary:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour , but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

The South Plant Production Operator performs all essential duties with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. Some of the key functions include but are not limited to:

• Performs work in accordance with the production schedule provided by inventory planning.
• Informs supervisors of any significant problems, issues or concerns.
• Completes production records and inventory transactions. 
• Updates process documentation (batch sheets) as work processes are completed. 
• Updates raw material inventory using computer software (SAP).
• Follows established production procedures and instructions. 
• Follows quality and safety standards. 
• Meets production deadlines. 
• Cleans, secures, and maintains work areas. 
• Performs shipping and receiving functions in the South Plant

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Technician experience is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Fork Truck Certification desired
• HAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc) or experience desirable, but not required
• Must be able to read and performs manufacturing work instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing all aspects of the job
• Solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Strong mechanical ability
• Team work skills
• Computer skills such as SAP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus
